The Fragile Resilience of the North

In an article published in the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects’ Landscapes magazine, Marie-Pierre McDonald, Partner Vice President at BC2, and Hilda Snowball, Chair of the Kativik Regional Government, address the profound transformation facing the Inuit: global warming. The northern regions of the world are particularly vulnerable and will be the most strongly affected by this phenomenon, both in terms of wildlife and community infrastructures.

In this text published in 2019, the two authors present the growing effects of these disruptions and open a reflection on the actions to be taken in order to face them.
